COME LEARN ABOUT AND EXPERIENCE THE HISTORY OF BLACKSMITHING AND THE MODERN DAY APPLICATIONS OF THIS CENTURY’S OLD TRADE!

There will be something educational all 10 days for guests to come down and to experience what blacksmithing is all about. The Blacksmith Demonstration area can be found on Country Trail in the Agriculture Zone.

In addition to our demonstration area, come and watch the Calgary Stampede Blacksmith Sub-Committee as they host shoeing and forging demonstrations on Country Trail.

The Blacksmith Showcase is presented by the Calgary Stampede Blacksmiths Sub-Committee (Western Agriculture Heritage).
